Ingredient:
- 1 cup whole wheat flour / atta
- 1/2 cup maida / flour
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar(icing sugar)
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/2 cup softened butter (Use normally available butter)
- 1/2 tsp salt to the dough
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 Tbsp cold milk
How to Make Cinnamon Butter Cookies:
Step 1. Mix together Atta, maida, powdered sugar, cinnamon powder in a bowl
Step 2. Add: Butter and vanilla essence.
Step 3. Knead the dough together with milk till it sticks together.
Step 4. Preheat oven to 180ºC/160ºC fan-forced. Line 3 baking trays with baking paper.
Step 5. Roll out the dough out between 2 sheets of baking paper until 1/2 cm thick. Using a cookie cutter to cut out rounds . Place on prepared trays. Re-roll remaining dough and repeat
Step 6. Place on a greased baking tray and bake for 12-15 minutes at 180°degree C.
Let it cool for 10 minutes.
Serve.
