Ingredients:


  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pureed strawberries (fresh or frozen)


Instructions:


1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.


2. Remove from heat and stir in the pureed strawberries.


3. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold (at least 2 hours, or overnight).


4. Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.


5. Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
