7. 1 teaspoon baking soda
8. 1/2 teaspoon salt
9. 1 cup buttermilk, at room temperature
Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 10-inch Bundt cake pan with butter or cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Beat in the vanilla extract.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture in 3 additions, alternating with the buttermilk, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
